I think it's safe to say that spring is finally here in the Windy City. I have trust issues when it comes to the weather here because so often the temperature will yo-yo between frigid cold and tropical...but we've had such lovely days for about a week now so we are all happy.
Chicago comes alive in the most beautiful way when the weather warms up. Everyone is happy to see the sun again after months of snow and it feels so good to walk outside without layers upon layers of coats and sweaters.
On Fridays I take the L downtown to my internship near Wrigley Field. I love these days because people watching happens to be one of my favorite things. People just fascinate me, from the way they carry themselves to the things they wear. There is no place like downtown to meet the most interesting people and the energy there inspires me.
I went thrift shopping on Saturday with my best friend Rachel. We made the trek to Wicker Park, one of the cutest districts of Chicago, in my opinion. There is nothing like finding a new favorite outfit for half the price (see pics above).
Ted ran his last home track meet this Saturday. I know I really love this man because seeing him do what he loves makes me so proud I could cry. And he's just too cute in that running suit.
